All Partner Event highlights

Over the last few months, the Digital Planning team have spent time meeting and working with people from across the planning sector and beyond, to hear their thoughts on the systems and services planning could use in the future.

At the end of January 2020 we held an All Partner Event, bringing people from across Scotland together to hear about our work to date and what we’ve got planned in the future.

We talked attendees through how we got here; from the extensive user research we undertook to the full suite of prototypes we’ve developed. Over the coming weeks we’ll be making these available online, giving you a chance to see what the future of planning could look like. In the meantime you can find more information on our Work to Date page.

We were also sure to mention the improvements coming the current eDevelopment service. While we’ve got one eye on the future, the other is focused on making the current service the best it possibly can be! Read more about the upcoming updates here.

A key part of the day for us was hearing feedback from attendees on what they’d heard; what were the biggest challenges, the biggest opportunities and the gaps they’d seen in the work presented that day?

We took away all of the feedback and we’re working on producing results for the web, which we’ll be looking share right here on Transforming Planning.

Thanks to everyone who took the time to be there and we look forward to sharing more with you in the run-up to strategy launch.
