Position statement 

Our Position Statement set out our thinking as of November 2020, reflecting on the rich feedback received through the 'Call for Ideas' engagement programme.

Our Position Statement set out our thinking as of November 2020 and reflected on the wealth of information received through the 'Call for Ideas' engagement programme. 

The Position Statement aimed to inform further discussions and was not itself a document setting out policy.  

We invited comments on the Position Statement over a 12 week period from November 2020 to February 2021. Our Programme for Engagement - PDF (291kB) set out the opportunities for involvement in the Position Statement consultation.

Both the consultation responses and an independent Analysis on Responses are available to view.

We also commissioned PAS to support communities plus children and young people to engage in the development of NPF4. The outputs are available below.

These reports and the individual responses were used to inform the preparation of the draft NPF4.
